Montcalm County CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates

Tuesday, March 24, we will have a special presentation by Jamie Gorby, the Executive Director of the Montcalm County CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates.  This is a program that exists across the country and matches community volunteers with children who are in the judicial system and need support from someone outside of their family who will advocate for them.  Most often they are children in the foster care system. 

 

This is an incredibly unsung program and the work these volunteers do can often impact a child's entire life.  Jamie will share the story of the program and the difference it is making right here in Montcalm County.
